Sheesh. The style is all wrong anyways. How can someone–as a fan of Bisley–possibly mistake this as genuine?

To the OP: You should file a report with Ebay. They have a strict rule about false claims on items (and this clearly is). They’ll be forced to remove the fake art when the seller can’t come up with adequate proof that it’s the real deal.

The Old Lobo were a slaver dressed like some sort of sick space biker that killed his entire own species. Meanwhile, the Real Lobo is a former respected military man turned mercenary/bounty hunter. Personally, if I could choose between the two I would prefer the REAL (new) Lobo.

I had a lot of issue working digitally. I couldn’t get a the certain quality I was looking for. Bisley inspired a slew of artists including myself and when I was in high school his work is what drove me to want to paint. I had no idea how he did his work. I only used marker and color pencils then. For a number of years after I was painting in acrylics and oils and saw a few Bisley paintings at conventions I attempted to try to make digital paintings and although I got some success and it helped me figure out certain compositional and color ideas the final product lacked something. Today I go back and forth, but ultimately settling on the final being in acrylics.

The one featured in the comic is a crappy line drawing by someone else.
Bisley’s stuff would have been better considering the rest of the series was done by Sienkiewicz.

Amazing to finally see him at work on a big piece, loads of stuff explained i wondered about when I look at his art, Like the knife on the board. Only wish I could have heard more of the conversation where he appears to be explaining his thought process,.. that aside it was well worth watching,..he really is the master. Thanks for filming.

Four days in fact. Arrived noon on a Friday, watched BIz pencil out a hellblazer cover in less than an hour, had a few beers, filmed him pencil and ink joker, ha
d a few beers, shot the interviews released as the bisley tapes, while having a few beers. Saturday an sunday were spent filming the painting, left Kastle Bizley at noon on monday rounding off a nice long weekend. Simon’s been on phone about it, he’s had to buy another cellphone as from first trailer being posted he’s had more calls and texts about this than he can handle. Hilarious, he can hardly get anything done thanksto this film. Some people eh ? I told him a week ago we could expect a ‘massive’ six or seven hundredviews in a week. Actual response of 2300 views in first 24 hours rising to 8000 afte a week. Biz was impressed by fan response and humbled by the praise lavished upon his work and this insight into his working methods. Big thanks to ecbt2000ad and CBR for spreading the word and getting viewers from beyond the hardcore of biz fans and into greatercomic fandom. Something cool willhappen later this month. Meanwhile you can all practice car paint canning, spit palming, knifing up the surface and the highly secretive sock-footing techniques Simon uses and credits his success to.

I had the pleasure of sitting next to Simon at the Motor City comic convention this past weekend. I watched him greet his fans, signing so many things.. and the sketches OMG!!! I was amazed .. (I had the best seat in the house I saw them all.!!)
At one of the busiest Motorcity conventions Ever. his line never let up he never disappointed a single fan it was great to watch.he did an amazing death dealer commission for me

These are so damn cool. I have the 1991 edition of ABC Warriors: The Black Hole by Biz and it’s a great read. Reminds me of playing 40k and listening to Iron Maiden in high-school :).
In any case, I believe Angel would be firing that gun with voice activation as it’s set to Auto (and who knows what Auto is capable of in the far future? Just look at Gunnar from Rogue Trooper!).

Right, I can answer this as I shot one of BIZ’s painting videos and edited 2 others. A Swisraeli guy called Gil has videos he made of BIZ painting in Paris and England in 2007 (a Weird Skull with Snaketail and Knife blade and a Ranxerox head on a leather jacket) I’ve edited them and they run at about 45 minutes a piece. They are part on a large ongoing documentary series Gil’s filming about a fine art gallery show featuring BIZ and Euro comic legend Tanino Liberatore (of RanXerox fame) and are under Gil’s control to be released as both advertising for the show and behind the scenes stuff. It’s a big project and as it’s still in development so there’s no way of knowing when the show, or the videos will happen. All I can say is it will be Awesome ! The other video of BIZ painting a huge 40 by 80 inch Joker face was shot by myself in September 2011 and has been whittled down from 15 hours or so to a lean, mean 1 hour 48 minute Artumentary that’s in it’s final stages now, with only a few nips, tucks and colour changes to be made. Roughcut DVDs are in circulation but under the highest security rating outside of the safe George Dubya Bush keeps his Porno Mags in. The Joker video is a separate project from Gil’s documentary but, as it features a piece from that show, cannot be released prior to the exhibition. So, in summary, They exist, They are pretty darn good but when they’ll emerge is anyone’s guess. I wish I knew more but I’m as in the dark as anyone about the timescale/status of the gallery show, so shut up, be patient and when the time’s right BIZ himself will alert his web admins to announce the releases and post the links here and on the intense art facebook page. I’m too busy to do the BIZ tv facebook/Twitter pages these days and am focused purely on the production of the videos, not web based stuff about them. This is my last word on the matter till the videos emerge. Best, VICTOR x

Thanks for the nice galleries. Each art work is very beautiful and well organized.
By the way, I have noticed that only one drawing “Biz Batman (32)” has not been finished. Just curious why he gave up to complete it, though it seems the most powerful batman I’ve ever seen.

Yes! i got my signed copy! Im from New Zealand just happened to be in London at the right time! so stoked to meet the main man!! Simons work has always amazed me from the very moment i first laid eyes on the abc warriors,it had a huge influence on my artwork.Thanks Simon! I just wish i wasnt so shy and showed you my art when i met you at forbidden planet yesterday! i would love to see what you think of it and how i can get some advice to get into comic illustrations.- Heath Todd.

You may as well repost the image. It was let out of the bag and now it’s all over the show. Thank fuck I kept all the other stuff to myself so it can only be released when the time’s right. There’s 2 1/2 days of video of BIZ doing this from a blank sheet of art board up to the image everyone’s seen. Shows his technique and the amazing speed he works at, Best video I’ve ever seen and I’ve seen a few unreleased ones.

Though used as a speakeasy cover this was a piece REJECTED by Toxic magazine, featuring Mutomaniac and the Corpse with no Name. Toxic folded within a year of it’s launch due to such editorial blunders.

The script which his chap is rewritting(From Ritchie’s era) is one where Lobo come to earth hunting down 2 space criminals and there Lobo team up with a teenager and both have high adventures (this last part is my add).So from that i understand why Warner hired this guy…..it’s just tragical!!!

I really want to do this, but I have no Facebook page. Do you think they would allow me to send it through proxy, I could use my sisters page?
Also, do they want us to draw Pestilence completely from scratch, or are they asking us to paint the Pestilence from the actual novel?

actually finn started in the comic Crisis in a story called Third World War and bisley did do 3 covers for this story, but the charactor Finn is not in the paintings,
